Mazes Fantasy Roleplaying

As a game fiction writer, I created fictional interludes to set the atmosphere and further lore and worldbuilding development in the hardcover edition of Mazes Fantasy Roleplaying, a high fantasy tabletop roleplaying game published by 9th Level Games.

Designed to evoke the pulpy storytelling of roleplaying games from the 1970s and 80s, Mazes brings players nostalgic gaming with a modern ruleset that’s easy for newcomers to learn. My fiction was inspired by the game’s illustrations, transforming evocative images into fast-paced, exciting written scenes.

Mazes has won an IGDN Award and an Ennie Award, and was nominated for IndieCade in 2022.
