Adventurer's Respite

Adventurer’s Respite is a short, shared-GM TTRPG with a unique d4-based system that was published in the ENNIE Award-winning 2023 Level 1 Anthology for Free RPG Day.

As game writer, I conceptualized and wrote Adventure’s Respite, interested in bringing to life the notion that finding relaxation and renewal is much harder than it seems. I was also inspired to create an entire story that takes place in a version of Rivendell.

Sunlight dances through the leaves
Soft winds stir the sighing trees
Lying in the warm grass
Feel the sun upon your face
Elfin songs and endless nights
Sweet wine and soft relaxing lights
